Description
See Photos. Comes from an immaculately clean nonsmoking home. In very good condition. Fantastic patina. c1890s. Hand tooled wood, leather, and iron. We found it in Virginia. Came from Pennsylvania. Could be Dutch or Amish. Wheels turn easily as do pedals. Horsehair tail tends to fall out with handling. It was probably worked on in a shop on a farm back in the day, an hour at a time in the evenings so as to surprise the recipient. The child, when presented with such a wonderful toy, was likely overjoyed to say the least. No maker marks that we can find. Wrought iron, hand carved wood, and hand painted. Stands approx 23" tall x 21" long and 13" wide. Seller Lot #22032. Listed shipping costs are for the lower 48 (USA) states. For the Eastern US, there is a strong possibility that you will get it with 2 or 3 day shipping. We ship internationally and encourage buyers to use the eBay Global Shipping Program.
