I purchase this horse and other early items from an estate here in NH 4. from an attic trunk, owner knew this had been in the family a long time but did not know who made it 5. you can see the condition is rough 6. the legs have wooden splints inside, the wood has worn through the top and bottom of the legs 7. this is very firmly stuffed with cotton bats 8. eyes are shoe buttons 9. you can see this has been patched and mended 10. fabric is heavy cotton 11. them mane and tale is twisted hemp or possibly flax 12. there seems to be enough fabric left on the bottom of legs that a repairs could be maid 13. it will stand but the wood wants to push out of the top 14. fabulous OOAK piece of folk art approximate measurements 1. total length 11.5 in. 2. 8 in hight to top of head 3. across the shoulders 3.5 in. ground advantage or priority shipping and handling in US scroll down for larger photos You may be interested in our other eBay listings .
